Who is a female inspiration/role model to you and why?
For me, all those "not-so-famous” women, who are successfully juggling between multiple roles are the unsung ‘sheroes’. These ordinary women with extraordinary feat inspire me anytime more than Indira Nooyi or Aishwarya Rai. It is because I can relate to their struggles and victories of everyday life – how they continue to accept challenges and keep emerging as winners!
Why does inclusion matter to you?
Well, honestly, it does not matter. I believe equality is a myth! Women are mentally stronger and have a higher emotional quotient. Nevertheless, we often see a disparity in society. Still, we’re lucky to work in an organisation that puts diversity and inclusion at the core of its culture and gives women an equal chance to grow.
How are you inspiring women to achieve their ambitions at JLL?
All I can say is that I do my work with full honesty, focus and determination. That’s what I have control over, and that’s what speaks for a person. This is the reason why I believe in walk the talk, as that is the best mantra. When others see you performing your duties with one hundred per cent dedication, they take inspiration from you.
