What is the most crucial aspect of your job?
I oversee a team of nearly 100 professionals responsible for accounts payable and receivable for more than 100 clients. Maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues is essential for effective teamwork and collaboration. To ensure this, I focus on open communication, active listening, and understanding the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
How do you build a secure work environment so that team feels included?
The diversity within our team is remarkable. Nearly 40% of my team members are female, and they feel safe working the night shift — 5:30 pm to 2:30 am. Regular feedback sessions, mentoring, and providing resources for professional growth are some ways I support their development.

Learning and development are vital for staying ahead in the industry. We have access to learning platforms like LinkedIn Learning. We encourage team members to participate in sessions and other training programs, providing them with approximately 140 hours of mandatory training per year. By staying updated with industry trends and enhancing their skills, they can adapt to changing demands and improve their performance.

To foster a fun and collaborative work culture, we organize weekly fun sessions, and all the important organizational updates are communicated through quarterly town halls. These sessions provide an opportunity for team members to relax, share their experiences, and appreciate each other's achievements. Additionally, we celebrate the team's successes through quarterly parties, creating a sense of camaraderie and a positive work atmosphere for collaboration and growth.
